This is a single block lino print which is hand printed as a very small edition of just 10. The block is inked with grey for the sky and a blue-black for the water. The print is then finished with hand colouring.

Whooper swans are seen in Shetland as Winter visitors and a small number also breed here. The birds in this print were seen on Spiggie Loch which is a good place to see wading birds, ducks and geese.
